New Bethel Baptist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus who are making other disciples of Jesus. We believe that our purpose is to equip the people of God to do the work of God of making followers of Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see lives transformed by the power of his death and resurrection. We seek to do that by sharing the love of Jesus Christ faithfully as we daily interact with the people God has placed in our circles of influence.

Our vision is:

  • to be a multigenerational body of believers
  • who seek to glorify God
  • by following the leadership of the Holy Spirit
  • as we pursue the spiritual growth of our members and the salvation of our neighbors.

"I Love My Church"
-Sermon Series-

Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the divinely inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God, given to men as the only source of doctrine, and is completely sufficient for all life and faith.

Humans were created in the image of God, in perfect union with Him from the beginning. They were created to rule over and care for the rest of God's creation.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Godhead, who has existed eternally with the Father and Holy Spirit, who came to Earth, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He is both fully God and fully man.

Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross, rose from the dead after three days, appeared to the disciples, ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, acting as intercessor between God and man.

Because of sin, man is now separated from God eternally. But because of God’s love for us, He made a way. Salvation now exists and is made possible only through accepting the gift of grace through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The church is the gathered together people of God, created and headed by the Lord Jesus. All people who put their faith in Jesus are placed into the church by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Second Coming

Jesus has promised that He will return one day for His people, to defeat sin and death once and for all, and to usher in a New Heavens and New Earth, where His people, the church, will live with Him eternally.
